The Irish Sailing Association Annual conference is taking place this coming weekend (sat 6th/Sun 7th march) in the Osprey Hotel in Naas. The Cruising Association of Ireland have a room on Saturday afternoon @ 2:00pm. Our Guest speaker is John Leahy who will speak about local cruising including some trips to Newry Canal last summer , and also about his experiences in preparation and on the ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers). The floor will also be open for discussion afterwards - any comments on how the Cruising association can best help to promote cruising among Irish sailors are most welcome.
