Hi Mike,

Good to hear of your trip to Scotland. Make sure to let us know how you get on - I'd love to do this cruise myself one day, have heard plenty about it. Should be a great trip !
For anyone else seeing this and wondering what the Classic malts is all about, click here for further info.

BTW... See you've put yourself down the Spring rally in NYC, should be a good night. Hope to meet a few HSBC boats there.
Also, do pass the word around in HSBC about the photo competition - the deadline's been extended until 31st March, there's some good prizes and a good chance of winning something !

Best regards,
Aidan.

Good man, Mike. I know you will enjoy the Classic Malts Cruise. I did it twice and made great friends. You will have plenty of time between Stops to cruise most of the area. Be sure to have an inflatabile and an engine.

I feel, although you make good friends on the cruise, that to have other boats you know can make the whole trip more enjoyable. If you
need any charts ( any help) please let me know.

On your return tell us all about your experiences.

Derek

Derek, thanks for the comments - following a visit to the London Boat Show I think we have every chart, pilot and guide book available. I have also invested in an outboard enginge and anothe 30M of chain!

will certainly keep a detailed log and look foward to meeting everyone again at the AGM
