NEWS ITEMS GENERAL PROGRAM FOR YEAR
In addition to the below we hope to fit in a KISH RALLY in May. The previous three years has seen poor weather frustrating what should be a great day out. The idea is to sail out around the Kish and back to a waterfront BBQ at a Dun Laoghaire club.

Earlier in the year - late June v mid July
More time off in ports such as 2 nights every second port.
Two formal dinners - at the start on Sunday 23 in Cork or Kinsale. One at the end to say farewell and bon voyage. (we had three dinners on the Clyde)
17 August. "Women on the water" event at NYC Dun Laoghaire. This is part of a weekend of sailing activities featuring ladies activities organised the Sailing Ireland.
This is a CAI module pithing that framework. The idea is that CAI cruisers will offer to take lady sailors out in the Bay and they can steer and generally learn about cruising yachts. Entertainment and dinner to follow at NYC. Details awaited.
THREE BRIDGES LIFFEY 14/15 SEPTEMBER
In addition we run occasional ad hoc events such as talks and mini cruises depending on weather.
Happy sailing in 2019 and a Happy Christmas and New Year to all members
